Jesus’s suffering and death was not for His own sake, but for the sake of people.  Christ’s passion which we commemorate each year during Lent is about God’s love for all people.  People were there; people took part; and people stood by and watched.  What do we know about these people?  This year our Lenten meditations will include a key person or people and their roles in Jesus’ death and resurrection—from Judas to Pontius Pilate to the women who first saw our resurrected Lord.  Most importantly we will learn through their lives how Christ’s passion is for us too.  Please join us beginning on Ash Wednesday March 1^st at 6:30 PM.
