Introit
We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, | and his might,*
and the wonders that | he has done.
He divided the sea and let them | pass through it,*
and made the waters stand | like a heap.
In the daytime he led them | with a cloud,*
and all the night with a | fiery light.
He split rocks in the | wilderness*
and gave them drink abundantly as | from the deep.
and he rained down on them man- | na to eat*
and gave them the grain of | heaven.
Man ate of the bread of the | angels;*
he sent them food in a- | bundance.
Glory be to the Father and | to the Son*
and to the Holy | Spirit;
as it was in the be- | ginning,*
is now, and will be forever. | Amen.
We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, | and his might,*
and the wonders that | he has done.

LUTHER’S MORNING PRAYER
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.
