“Help the Hooch”

HTH-logoOn Saturday, October 14th at 8:00 AM Redeemer Lutheran Church will be joining 10,000 volunteers throughout Muscogee County to “Help the Hooch”.  We and Bethlehem Lutheran Church have partnered with the Muscogee Rotary Club to assist in cleaning up Rotary Park.  This annual event held by Columbus Waterworks helps ensure the cleanliness of the Chattahoochee River and its watershed.  Did you know that 100% of our city water comes from the Hooch?  Please come out and help.  There are areas to clean for every ability level.

When:  October 14th, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Where: Rotary Park, 1300 Victory Drive

Why: To serve our wonderful Columbus community.

Following “Help the Hooch” Columbus Waterworks is hosting the Watershed Festival at Woodruff park at 11:00 AM.  It’s a great opportunity to have some fun in Uptown Columbus.
